Mirror of our lives is a book of short enthralling stories that mirror our society. They are stories that live with us or that we live in as a people, which in the author’s perception, need to be reviewed for the setbacks they have caused and might continue to cause us as a people. The book consists of stories of cultural oddities, jealousy, infidelity, governmental and parental negligence and general happenstances.

About The Author

Abdulsalam El-Mubashir is a poet, prose and songwriter. He is a past Chairman of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA)

Oyo State Chapter. He is the winner of the

2003 ANA/NDDC Ken Saro Wiwa prose prize and a member of the Nigerian

Institute of Quantity Surveyors, Musical Copyright Society of Nigeria (MCSN) and Songwriters, Composers and Lyricist Association of Australia (SCALA). Abdulsalam presently works as a Quantity Surveyor with the University of Ibadan.

He is married with children.
