Leading the charge for literacy and education, Accessible Publishers Ltd. celebrated this year’s International Children’s Day with impactful events across multiple states in Nigeria, reaffirming its commitment to educational development and nurturing the minds of tomorrow.
In partnership with media giants Fresh FM and Agidigbo FM, the publishing firm brought Children’s Day festivities to life in Ibadan. At Agodi Gardens, Fresh FM’s event featured educational exhibitions, storytelling contests, and other activities designed to engage children in creative learning. Simultaneously, Agidigbo FM hosted its celebration at the historic Bowers Tower, where children participated in games and literary competitions.
Beyond Ibadan, the company also partnered with the Association of Model Islamic Schools (AMIS) in Oluyole and Ona Local Government Areas, while schools in Oyo Town also hosted activities supported by Accessible Publishers.
The celebrations extended to Rivers, Kano, Akwa Ibom, and Kwara states, where local educational associations, including the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) and the Association of Private School Owners of Nigeria (APSON), joined in marking the day.
Reaffirming its commitment to literacy development, the company said the initiative aligns with global education goals, including the United Nations’ targets for universal education and child empowerment, while reinforcing its dedication to making quality learning resources accessible to children nationwide.
