Unveiling the Accessible Studybase App in Ibadan and NAPPS Award of Excellence: A Testament to Educational Excellence.

In a bid to recognize and reward outstanding contributions to the educational sector, Accessible Studybase, a renowned educational platform, has partnered with the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) to present the prestigious Award of Excellence.

The award ceremony, which was held today at the edifice and magnificent Onasode Hall at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan brought together educators, policymakers, and stakeholders in the educational sector among whom were the Hon. Commissioner for Education, Oyo State, Prof. Abdulwahid Saliu who was represented by Mrs. Omotosho, the Executive Secretary, Oyo SUBEB (State Universal Basic Education Board) representing Dr. Nureni Aderemi, The Executive Chairman, Oyo SUBEB who was represented by Mrs Laide Ladipo, Dr. Mary A. Odedare, Oyo State Chairman, National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools, and Chief N.O Okereke, former President, Nigeria Publishers Association and host of other eminent personalities who graced the occasion.

In his welcome speech, the Managing Director, Accessible Publishers Limited who doubled as the initiator of Studybase School Management System Mr. Gbadega Adedapo who was represented by the General Manager, Operations, Mr. Taiwo Akanni said that the Spelling Bee and Mathematics Competition was put in place in partnership with the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools, Oyo State Chapter in order to encourage reading culture and sharpen the numeracy skills of the students at the Primary level of Education.

According to him”…this esteemed award aims to acknowledge and celebrate schools and educational institutions that have demonstrated exceptional commitment to providing accessible and inclusive education.

The award also seeks to promote a culture of excellence in education, encouraging schools to strive for continuous improvement and innovation.,” he remarked

The Accessible Studybase and NAPPS Award of Excellence is a testament to the tireless efforts of educational institutions in providing quality education to students from diverse backgrounds.

The event featured keynote speech was delivered by The Digital media manager, Adebayo Dapo on how schools and individuals can leverage technology to improve learning and reduce school operational cost, after which presentation of awards was done to deserving students who were outstanding in the Spelling Bee and Mathematics Competition.

The winners cut across different parts of the State.

The list of the winners is as started below

Mathematics Competition Category:

  • 1st Position: Omotosho Judah – @Crystal Light School, Bashorun, Ibadan
  • 2nd Position: Soliudeen Adeolu – The Young Shall Grow Nur/Pry School, Iseyin
  • 3rd Position: Tajudeen Hammed A. – Ambassador Group of Schools, Oyo.

Spelling Bee Category:

  • 1st Position: Makinde Toluwani F. – Pioneer Preparatory School, Ibadan
  • 2nd Position: Adigun Caleb Adebare – Adejare Group of Schools, Oyo
  • 3rd Position: Oke Mary Monmola – Sharon Rose Nur/Pry School, Ago Are.

Mathematics 

  • 4th Position: Adeniyi Fatima O. – Stepping Stone Private School, Eruwa
  • 5th Position: Ojewumi Peculiar – Forerunners Nur/Pry School, Ogbomoso.

SPELLING BEE

  • 4th Position: Makinde Naomi O. – Dayspring Nur/Pry School, Ogbomoso
  • 5th Position: Olagbero Dorcas – Stepping Stone Private School, Eruwa.

Each of the winners was awarded with Cash gifts and other educational materials (including books and branded School bags) that were worth several thousands of Naira.

The Cultural Dance Troupe of Holy Trinity Grammar School,Old Ife Road was on the ground to entertain the distinguished guests at the event.
