Accessible Publishers on Tuesday, October 1, opened a new five-storey headquarters at 121/123 Knowledge Hub, Obafemi Awolowo Way, Oke-Ado, Ibadan, in a move aimed at boosting operational capacity and meeting the demands of modern publishing.
The facility, equipped with state-of-the-art features, is designed to house multiple departments under one roof and provide a modern work environment aligned with international best practices.
Speaking at the unveiling, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Gbadega Adedapo, described the new headquarters as both a milestone and a symbol of the company’s renewed commitment to innovation.
“This headquarters is not just a building but a reflection of our vision to create a dynamic and inclusive publishing environment that inspires excellence,” the CEO said. “It represents our determination to raise industry standards and expand our capacity to serve the needs of learners, educators, and partners in Nigeria and beyond.”
According to Tosin Akeredolu, Personal Assistant to the Managing Director, the relocation embodies the CEO’s vision to harmonise operations and establish a modern workspace that will serve as a benchmark for publishers.
“In line with our mission, this move aims to ensure the company serves as a model for other publishers in Nigeria and beyond,” he said. “It also aims to foster inclusivity and ensure acceptability across board.”
Taiwo Akanni, General Manager (Operations), described the development as a step that would elevate the company’s profile and foster stronger partnerships.
“This space has all it takes to expand the firm’s operational capacity and serve as a creative hub where professionals can fully unlock their potential,” he noted.
The unveiling drew positive reactions from staff, who said the new site would improve work ethics and professional conduct. Mrs. Ashaolu Bolaji, a Senior member of the editorial team, noted that uninterrupted power, reliable internet, and ample space would enhance research, proficiency, and efficiency.
As the new site prepares to commence operations and serve its network of customers, the old site will be strategically repositioned as a dedicated sales hub.
