Yinka Ayefele’s historic visits to the Head Office of Accessible Publishers Limited, Ibadan
“Oh you guys, we have to be at Oke-Ado, our corporate head office site to meet Dr. Joel Yinka Ayefele popularly known as ‘OJA’ in a couple of minutes from now. He just called me that he would be coming to visit our Studio for our proposed…Station.”
That was just the statement that defined the momentum and historic visits of OJA from the publishing icon, Mr. Gbadega Adedapo, Md, Accessible Publishers Limited, Ibadan to his strategic-thinking team after a powerful capacity-building workshop for the Staff Members of the Conglomerate delivered by Mr.Remi Adesokan of Knowledge Beyond Ltd on a subject of “Ethics, Etiquettes and Professionalism” held on Saturday June 22, 2024 at the Function Room of Best In Print Academy, Ibadan.
The team led by Mr. Gbadega Adedapo accompanied by Mr. Taiwo Akanni General Manager, Operations Accessible Publishers Ltd,, Mr. Deepak Francis, the Provost, Best In Print Academy, Mr. Tosin Akeredolu, Head, Customer Care/ Corporate Communications, Mr.Dapo Adebayo, Head of Media Team, Mr. Olufemi Ogunyejo, the Registrar, Best In Print Academy, and host of others moved in a convoy to the gigantic 6-story edifice situated at Oke-Ado area of Ibadan to meet the Tungba Gospel Music Maestro, Dr. Yinka Ayefele and his team who were already at the place awaiting our arrival.
Both CEOs’beaming with smiles were full of joy while exchanging pleasantries. Each leader introduced his team members to glue the business relationship that had just begun to evolve.
Welcoming the August visitor in June for his impromptu visit, the CEO, of Accessible Publishers Ltd, Mr. Gbadega Adedapo described Dr. Ayefele as a doyen in Nigeria’s radio broadcasting industry and a global phenomenon whose immense contributions to the growth and development cum job creation in the media and entertainment industry cannot be waved aside.
Mr. Gbadega eulogized Dr. Ayefele for his huge investments in radio broadcasts which have made him become the cynosure of all eyes, consultant, and mentor for other prospective investors.
His words” I cannot hide my joy and happiness for this historic visit. It means a lot to me and my team members. It is a great morale booster for me in person. I have to come and meet you with my team members because of my philosophy that says ‘you can’t win alone, you can only win with your team members.”
Continuing, he said ” …we just finished our annual capacity-building workshop for all our staff now on a subject titled” Ethics, Etiquettes and Professionalism” delivered by a leading management consultant, Mr. Remi Adesokan of Knowledge Beyond Ltd, Lagos and we were strategizing on another project ahead of us when your call came in sir.”
I was short of words when you informed me of your intention to visit our site in a couple of moments. I don’t take this privilege for a ride. It is a morale booster for me and my team. My prayer is that Almighty God will continue to enlarge and expand you the more.
Responding, Dr. Ayefele attributed all his achievements to the Mercy of the Lord.

He remarked that his resolve to be a partner in progress with Mr. Gbadega’s vision was due to his firm belief in his philosophy of being a wealth creator.
The Ekiti-born gospeller said” …the person who suggested my name to you must have heard how much I suffered in the hands of charlatans in my bid to establish Fresh FM and others.
“And I have heard and read much about how you transformed the Nigeria publishing industry while you served as the 2-term President of the Nigeria Publishers Association,(NPA) and Chairman of Nigeria International Book Fair Trust (NIBFT) coupled with your firm belief in wealth creation for the economic recovery and survival of the people.
I love to encourage and support people who have the focus and ambition for job creation, wealth multiplication and offering assistance to the talented and skilled broadcasters by giving them the platform to display their raw and reformed skills.,” he enthused
Thereafter, the combined team of both Captains of Industry climbed the edifice for inspection and assessment of facilities on the ground for the take-off of the proposed radio station.
Both industry leaders encouraged their members to look forward to a robust and symbiotic working relationship that will help redefine the operations of the Nigerian broadcast space.
