Accessible Publishers Ltd., one of Nigeria’s leading publishing firms, joined other key stakeholders at the 2025 Nigeria International Book Fair (NIBF), reaffirming its commitment to promoting a strong reading culture and expanding book patronage nationwide.

The 2025 edition of the fair, themed “Local Paper Production: Panacea to Affordable Book Production and Qualitative Education,” tackled the urgent need for local paper manufacturing to make books more affordable and support quality education in Nigeria. The three-day event gathered publishers, authors, educators and other industry players from within and outside Nigeria to share ideas and strengthen the future of the book ecosystem.

On the sidelines of the fair, Accessible Publishers showcased its rich collection at Stands C10 and D11, attracting parents, teachers and young readers with an extensive range of children’s books across all ages.

Speaking at the exhibition stand, Mr. Faleye Stephen, Sales Manager at Accessible Publishers Ltd., underscored the unique appeal of the company’s storybooks. “Storybooks are gaining more attention because of the kinds of books we display – they are well-designed, attractive, and filled with engaging pictures and content,” he said.

One of the attending teachers also stressed the importance of selecting books that do more than entertain. “It’s important to give children books that convey valuable lessons and uplift them both academically and morally,” she noted.

Organised by the Nigerian Book Fair Trust, the Nigeria International Book Fair remains a vital hub for collaboration within the publishing industry. As the fair prepares for its Silver Jubilee next year, key players such as Accessible Publishers continue to play a key role in shaping the future of books and literacy in Nigeria.
