The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Accessible Publishers Ltd., one of Nigeria’s foremost publishing firms, Gbadega Adedapo, marked his 60th birthday Saturday, August 23, receiving glowing tributes from associates, staff, and well-wishers.
Born in 1965, Adedapo is a Nigerian publisher and philanthropist widely recognised for his outstanding contributions to the publishing industry. Over the years, he has held key leadership positions, including serving as Chairman of the Nigerian Book Fair Trust (NBFT) and President of the Nigerian Publishers Association (NPA). His career has been decorated with several awards and honours, underscoring his commitment to advancing publishing in Nigeria and Africa at large.
In a heartfelt felicitation message, the management team of Accessible Publishers praised his leadership and impact: “At Accessible Group, you are not only an outstanding leader but also an inspiration. Your dedication to excellence sets the standard we aspire to, while your compassion has created a workspace that is both successful and fulfilling. We deeply appreciate your commitment to advancing publishing in Nigeria and across Africa.”
In his remarks, the Registrar of Best in Print Academy, a subsidiary of Accessible Publishers, Olufemi Timothy Ogunyejo, described Adedapo as “a man of character who has opened windows of opportunity for the next generation and elevated the standard of educational content across Nigeria.”
