5 Things Teachers Can do to Improve Students’ Memory

By Wale Akinwale on February 6th, 2021

Improving students memory is one of the important tasks that teachers must embark on to aid the success of their students and make the transfer of knowledge easy.

A good memory ensures that students retain the lessons teachers teach them and also go on to improve their knowledge.

Teachers can Enhance Students Memory by Following These Simple Steps:

  • Using imagery to explain and illustrate your lessons can help improve a student’s memory.
  • Encourage students to relax and rest. Encouraging them to observe siesta is a good idea.
  • Do not present information in a large chunk; break lessons and information into smaller units.
  • Encourage students to eat a healthy diet. Suggest certain memory-improving foods and fruits.
  • Play classroom games that involve recollecting information. This, in a way, exercise the brain and aid memory recollection.
